Philosophy for children as an approach to the 2030 Agenda. The necessity to shape a citizenship cosmopolitan, critical and compassionate

Abstract

There are currently a variety of ethical challenges that inevitably have an impact on the educational landscape. Some of these challenges are manifested and made clear in the 2030 Agenda through the various Sustainable Development Goals. From our point of view, a cosmopolitan conception will be necessary in order to be able to approach the magnitude of these goals from the perspective of education. But that is not all. Which educational and pedagogical strategies can be framed in this context of education and global citizenship? Can any methodological construct allow us to approach the 2030 Agenda? The proposal here will be Philosophy for Children as a project capable of guiding us towards the discussion and attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals.
