TVE’s first variety shows: from La hora Philips to Escala en HI-FI

Abstract

With the birth of the television in Spain they believe the first programs of varieties. Moving away progressively from the wireless model from the one that divided the television, these programs manage, across the variety and the spectacle, to construct a new language of the image that will be considered to be the necessary one for the television. Simultaneously that creates this language favors the change of commercial and sociological models, on having put the gun-sights in a more evolved international context. A young people promotion of Spanish is formed before these spectacles transmitted by the screen, good as professionals of the new way, good as consumers.
