Abstract
The purpose of this article is to investigate the relationships between transmedia narration and performance art through the considerations presented by Paul Ricoeur in his theory of triple mimesis. To this end, it deals with the performance “Esforço” in which experiences are told using a variety of media. The actions of the artist can be modified by the participation of the public. Thus the combined actions of the performer and the public, in the present moment, combine to form a work of performance art, bringing triple mimesis into play as preconfiguration, configuration and reconfiguration of the action.
