Este trabajo intenta documentar las sucesivas transformaciones del concepto de riesgo en las sociedades de cazadores recolectores, las sociedades orgánicas, el primer capitalismo y la modernidad avanzada, destacando el papel preponderante jugado por el trabajo y el comercio en el proceso de modelar la cultura, el pensamiento y la propia naturaleza humana, proceso en el que están estrechamente imbricados.
This work intends to show the successive transformations undergone by the concept of risk along the evolution of societies: hunters-gatherers, organic societies, the first capitalism and the advanced modernity, enhancing the preponderant paper played by labor and trade in the process of modeling culture, thought and human nature itself, process in which they are closely interwoven.
