En este artículo se analizan las obras literarias de la pensadora feminista Monique Wittig, concretamente Las Guerrilleras y El cuerpo lesbiano, para rastrear sus propuestas contra el binarismo sexual y la obligatoriedad del contrato heterosexual. He escogido estas dos obras para analizar en ellas las dos revoluciones en las que cree Wittig: la revolución lingüística y la revolución social. Monique Wittig cree en la necesidad de estas dos revoluciones, que se entrelazan y van unidas, para subvertir el contrato social heterosexual, pues para ella la discriminación de sexo se hace desde un entramado político y lingüístico que requiere y presupone un binarismo sexual.
This paper analyzes the literary work of the feminist writer Monique Wittig –focusing on Les guérrillères and Le corps lesbien– in order to trace her proposals to fight against sexual binarism and the compulsory status of the heterosexual contract. I chose both these works because in them we can find the two revolutions in which Wittig believes: the linguistic revolution and the social revolution. Monique Wittig argues that these two revolutions, that are linked and intertwined, are necessary in order to subvert the heterosexual social contract, since she thinks that sex discrimination is part of a political and linguistic framework which requires and presupposes sexual binarism.
