Anti-plagiarism measures
Authors must ensure that the data and results presented in their submissions are original and sufficiently unique and have not been copied, fabricated, distorted, or manipulated.
Plagiarism in all its forms, multiple or redundant publication, self-plagiarism, as well as the fabrication or manipulation of data, are serious ethical violations and are considered scientific fraud.
Authors must not submit manuscripts to Spal that are currently being reviewed by another journal.
Submitted articles to Spal may be reviewed using the plagiarism detection tool Turnitin, provided by the University of Seville. Any articles found to contain evidence of plagiarism or self-plagiarism will be rejected.
