Criteria for the formation of the Editorial Board

1. Responsibilities

Together with the editor and secretary of the journal, the Editorial Board undertakes the necessary tasks for the drafting, proposal, preparation and dissemination of each call for papers. It anonymously verifies that the manuscripts are in line with the theme of the issue.

It participates in the follow-up of the validation processes of the articles according to the refereeing system established by the journal.

2. Process of composition of the Editorial Board

1. In the first stage, which began in 2010, the Editorial Board of the journal is made up of professors from the University of Seville with research competences. They constitute the founding core and bring extensive experience in the management and review processes of each issue, so that their membership of the Editorial Board is indefinite.

2. When the journal is indexed in the main international databases (Scopus, A&HCI, Avery, among others), a second stage begins in 2016 and ends in 2021, incorporating PhD lecturers from other universities, giving priority to gender equality criteria until reaching the current composition of 47% women and 53% men.
