Open Topics

 

"Open Topics Lines" reports on the journal's editorial interests with the aim of defining areas of research linked to the area of knowledge Proyectos Arquitectónicos.

For each issue, a specific topic is announced by means of an open call for papers, to which all articles must necessarily conform. Articles are only admitted on the dates announced for each call.

Once the theme of each issue has been established by means of an open call for papers, the articles may be oriented along the following lines.

Line 1 - Research projects.
Current research: objectives, methodology, results and conclusions of the research. 

Line 2 - Architectural interventions.
Theoretical and critical analysis of architecture and public spaces based on the project and its construction. 

Line 3 - Architecture and criticism.
Analysis of modern architecture: common and recurrent aspects; updating and projection to the current problems of architecture and society.

Line 4 - Lessons in architecture.
Theoretical and critical knowledge of architectural projects.

Line 5 - The teaching of projects: essays and experiences.
Definitions of architectural teaching models: critique, formation, consolidation and evolution (teaching projects and similar are excluded).

Line 6 - Architects travel.
The journey as a space for reflection and verification. The true critique of architecture from the knowledge of the work in its place and context.

Line 7 - Masters and mentors.
Profession and learning between architects of different generations.

Line 8 - Exemplary careers.
Exemplary professional careers: biographies; the importance of critical training and the architect's active attitude.
