Abstract
Today´s art has often been diluted at a time when, in the middle of technological age, the big auction houses prefer consolidated and famous artists. Talented artists see that their work is not visible or that it is directly ignored, in the middle of a bunch of creators who fail to stand out from the others. In order to make these emerging artists visible, the group “Vanguardias y Últimas Tendencias Artísticas” try to carry out a cycle of exhibitions by unknown artists, but with great potential.
The first person to open this exhibition cycle is, since last November, Elena Juno. An artist who narrates with ferocity the life of the youth today. With pencil, ballpoint pen and charcoal, and subsequent digital coloring, she manages to make the viewer participate in those sensations and emotions that we sometimes can not express with words. In this article, we will review her life in order to understand her concerns and motivations, as well as some of the most outstanding works, including her influences and her career, which for more than half a decade has led her to consolidate her own style, with a great symbolic load.
