This paper pretends to show some points of the color blue’s trajectory from the modernist era with the influence of Darío to Diario de un poeta reciencasado (1916) through the color blue’s presence in modernist poetry as a representation of different symbols (as melancholy, dream, etc.) or a color coming from the French romantic and symbolist poetry, to end with the metamorphosis of the color blue in Diario, as a literary renovation in order to reach the pure poetry.Downloads
