In this article, we use Bilingual Aphasia Test (BAT) to evaluate the linguistic damage produced in monolingual patients who suffer from Parkinson’s disease. We begin making a short introduction about the disease and the link of this with bilingualism. For the study, we have used 18 monolingual patients (9 men and 9 women) coming from province of Cadiz and with an average age of 70 years. The results observed in these patients, who define the control group of the experiment, are that there is a higher error rate in lexical decision, silence paragraph reading and sentences dictation tasks.
