Cardinal Francisco de Solís ordered to build in the palace of de archbishops in Umbrete (Seville), during the second half of the 18th century, a garden decora te with a fountain and about fifty busts and sculptures in marble, that were the unique andalousian collection of the type of artistic gardens, prototype of the royal gardens in Spain and Europe. In this article we contribute with a document about the original look of this garden, we asses it historical and artistic importance, we also analyse where are now its sculptures, and at the end we treat about the date and the artists who made them.
