Abstract

The reports written by these two engineers, here published for the first time, are an important contribution for the knowledge of these two architects who worked in Andalusia in the early seventeenth century. The contents of these reports are, as well, a valuable testimony of the aims of the local society to support its economic relevance toward the american trade. Nevertheless, non the expert opinions neither the local pretentions, founded positive results.
