Toe artistic collections have contributed through ali periods as a fundamental issue to better know history of art. It is through inventories and wills that we can know the preferences for differents artists as well as the value of these pieces in contras! with the different goods that families own. This article analizes the inventory of goods and possessions that doña Mariana de Medina and her husband don Pedro Gutiérrez de Acuña, both part of the local nobility of Jerez de la Frontera, who's ancestors collected one of the most importants collections of artistics goods in the city.
