Abstract

The report delivered by Pedro de Arrieta, Major Master of México Cathedral and the Royal Palace, in 1722 motivated by the big fire that destroyed a large part of the Royal Hospital of Indians in México city, was decisive to its future reconstruction. In fact, some proposals formulated by this distinguished architect were restored in agreement with his proposals.
