Abstract

I intend to demonstrate in the present article that the last wall of the city of Seville was erected during the Almoravide dinasty's domination, concretely all along the third and fourth decades of the twelfth century. To do so, I will use arguments based on the Arabian chronicles, the historical context, the design of the wall and particular defensive devices.
