Sometimes, a writer’s literary assessment appears to be crystal clear and it is assumed not only by the audience but also by the Academia. However, when looking closely at its evaluation, its methodology and its sources, the reasons why it is labelled as ‘good’ or ‘bad’ remain blurry or, most of the times, invisible. This is the case of J.K. Rowling. Findings of this research suggest possible cultural pollutions as the ultimate reason for the boycott of this author’s work, who might be the most unknown regarding her literary facet.
