Abstract

It seems a challenge to try to find a common thread between contributions that are, at first sight, very different from each other in terms of the themes dealt with, the personal approaches of each author, the historical framework or the social and cultural contexts described. However, it is the woman, the protagonist in all her marvellous nuances, who is the common element that can achieve this. She is the protagonist of her own story and that of many who, in turn, identify with her, either because, with her voice, she speaks of love and pain, of achievements and failures, of battles and rescue, and because she has always had to fight to be able to exist freely, without ties or constrictions.
