Abstract
Akira Kurosawa’s Macbeth is one of the greatest adaptations of any Shakespeare’s plays. Throne of Blood, is not a simple adaptation, moreover Kurosawa deals with such a tragedy making if part of the Japanese tradition. From Scotland to Japan, Kurosawa nurtures this story with the Japanese culture, however Macbeth still remains our well-known Macbeth.
