Abstract
Macbeth has been one of the arguments that cinematographic story has used to reflect the myth of the loss of the paradise by ambition and pride. The adaptation of Shakespeare’s tragedy has followed diverse ways: the fidelity to the original text, the modernization or the change of the generic registry –towards the comedy or the gansters cinema– are some of them. On the other hand, the inheritance that the personages of shakespearean work leave leave in the filmic universe goes much more there of the adaptations more or lee declared.
