Abstract
The aim of this paper is, on the one hand, to look into the fundamental concepts related to preventive discourse concerning the immigration of poor people to Europe, and, on the other hand, to explore the application of this type of discourse to the specific case of the association between migration and terrorism in Spanish mass media.
