Nervion is the expansion projected to the east of Seville in the roaring twenties with emblematic works such as its Garden-City or the Immaculate Conception parish, which has modernist mosaics, as extraordinary as they are unknown, attached to its main altarpiece. In this article we present an artistic analysis of such a precious work of art as well as of the stained glass windows that adorn the temple and that together make up an iconographic program that is the result of the vision of the Church of the time, personified by Cardinal Eustaquio Ilundáin, and the concerns of the Sevillian bourgeoisie, the recipient of the new parish. Aesthetics and thought, at the service of art and spirituality, with clear French connections in the Seville of the Ibero-American Exhibition of 1929.
