Abstract

Without the ambition of being exhaustive, the present contribution sets out to study the principal ideas in Leibniz's thought on religion, without concerning ourselves in particular with his theological or ecumenical ideas. To that end, we start by analyzing the philosophical context in which his thought took shape, and conclude with some reflections on the possible political intention of those ideas.
