La pregunta que guía este trabajo es sobre el reconocimiento. Qué sea aquello que reconocemos, que percibimos, que experimentamos como cuerpo en el ámbito discursivo y social de lo humano. Aquí es donde estamos y actuamos, y donde pensamos y fantaseamos. Y también es donde imaginamos lo natural. Y muchos y diversos son los hilos con los que hacemos cuerpos. En este parcial relato, los hilos privilegiados son los del sexo, género, deseo, sexualidad.
Insofar as the body is not an indisputable biological or natural datum, it cannot be an solid starting point, not even as an intimate experience. This essay is a reflection on recognition. What is it that we recognize, perceive, and experience as a body in the social and discursive field of the human. It is in this field that we are and act, that we think and dream. And this is also the space where we imagine the natural. Bodies are composed of many threads. I will focus on a few of them: sex, gender, desire, sexuality.
