Abstract

The aim of this study is to tackle the concept of culture from the perspective of evolutionary biology. I present in this paper, the biological con-cept of culture traditionally accepted (proposed by J. Bonner) contrasting it with my own tentative definition, but first establishing the essential differen-ces between biological evolution and cultural evolution and stating my position on the existence, increasingly accepted about a non-human animal culture.
