This article explores the impact that the digital revolution, the massiveness of the internet and the evolution of digital technology have had on political participation. This article seeks to answer the following questions: What role does deliberation play in 21st century democracies? What role does information play in this interaction? How can information and deliberation be addressed in this context? The hypothesis is that citizen participation in a digital space supposes a deliberation in which the weighing of reasons and information leads not only to epistemically virtuous results, but also to the increase of some epistemic vices.
