El nuevo animismo: experimental, isomérico, liminal y caósmico

Resumen

Este artículo analiza el animismo en tanto que antídoto del capitalismo semiótico, así como, paralelamente, las raíces rigurosamente mágicas del segundo (a partir del concepto de «fetichismo de la mercancía» en Marx y de la noción de «mágica simpática» en Frazer). Asimismo, examina qué debe entenderse por mundos animistas, proponiendo a tal fin la noción de campo de «intensidades» (en diálogo con las de «plano de composición» y «espacio liso» en Deleuze y Guattari) y ofreciendo diferentes ejemplos. Por último, define el animismo contemporáneo como experimental, isomérico, liminal y caósmico (en conversación con los trabajos de Donna Haraway, Elizabeth Povinelli, e Hilan Bensusan) y lo describe como una vía de salida de las ruinas del capitalismo hacia lo que Nietzsche llamó el «mar abierto» tras la «muerte de Dios».
