Abstract
The generation of a space is a process in which various factors intervene. Unlike the usual dependence that it is considered to exist between the user and the space, this has always gone hand in hand with a design process carried out using various methods, always with the aim of obtaining satisfactory results for those who inhabit it. In this sense, there are a series of non-hierarchical variables, which feedback on each other and act in constant cooperation, such as the user, the pre-existing space, the activities, the context, the perception, the experience or the place, among others, and that play a decisive role in obtaining these results.
Through the analysis of the relationships between these variables, their interdependence is argued, which at the same time is detected in the analysis of space carried out by different architectural theorists, who have been specifically chosen for their critical position towards the modern movement. in favor of a phenomenological alternative and who have been key figures in the development of the trajectory and evolution of the space design of the twenty century.
