Abstract

"Theories of contemporary art. An introduction" is a book that look to the past to question the present: ¿is it a break or an interpretation of the modernity? To answer, the author explains how the critique about the assumptions of that school of thought has became apparent a variety of works that it´s difficult to associate with what modernity proposes. So, the first three chapters follow this task to end up in a conclusion by examples in the chapter four.
