Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published or submitted for consideration by any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in the Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word format. Wherever possible, URLs are provided for references.
- The text is single-spaced; 12 point font size; italics are used instead of underlining (except in URLs); and all illustrations, figures and tables are placed in the appropriate places in the text, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which appear in About the journal. Bibliographic references should be based on the internationally accepted standard APA.
- If submitted to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, please follow the instructions in Securing anonymous review.
- Content and periodicity: The International Social Protection e-Journal publishes research papers on Social Security Law, Social Protection Law and Labour Law. It is published every six months (June and December).
- Publication and sections. The publication of papers will be decided by the Director of the Journal, with the participation of the Editorial Board and being advised by the Scientific Committee, based on an external, independent and anonymous evaluation. The paper may be "accepted", "accepted with modifications" or "rejected". Depending on the nature of the paper, it will be included in the section "Studies", "Comments on Sentences" or in the section "Miscellaneous".

Authors being published in this journal agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain their copyright and they will guarantee to the journal the right of first publication of their work, which will be simultaneously subject to license recognition by Creative Commons that allows others to share such work provided that the author’s name and his first publication in the e-International Review on Social Protection is stated.
- Authors may take other non-exclusive distribution license agreements version of the published work (e.g. deposit in an institutional digital file or publication in a monographic volume) provided that the initial publication in this journal is stated.
