Abstract

Miguel Albín was a carver who worked in Seville in the first half ofthe XIX" century. He represents the local artistic atmosphere ofhis time. Trained in the workshop and the Academy, he built small carpentry works and altarpieces. In this ones he utilized the orders required by the Neoclassical style, although making a traditional use of the wood like constructive material.
