UN NUEVO CRISTO MUERTO, OBRA FIRMADA Y DOCUMENTADA DE LUÍS ORTEGA BRU, EN LA PARROQUIA DE MARÍA (ALMERÍA)

Abstract

This article is a study of an unknown lying Christ sculpture by Luis Ortega Bru, completed in 1980, and which can be found in the parish church of The lncamation of Our Lady Mary in the province of Almeria. It studies the history and style of this sculpture, analyzing its iconographic antecedents while comparing it with other deceased Christ figures by the same sculptor.
