The article deals with the identification of a canvas by Artus Wolffort with the theme The Pool of Bethesda in the rich collection of Flemish paintings of the Cathedral of Seville. Possibly it was acquired in times of fruitful contact of the Flanders workshops and Seville. Artus Wolffort is a contemporary painter Rubens and classmate in the workshop of Otto Venius with paintings that are being discovered in the Iberian Peninsula.
