The high altarpiece of Camas Parish Church is a good example of the changes and moves of the Sevillian artistic heritage in the 19th century. The altarpiece was built by Francisco de Acosta el Mozo in 1798-1799 for Pilas Parish Church. Later, in 1814, it was bought by the Discalced Trinitarians Convent of Seville. Finally it was given up to the Camas Parish Church in 1870.
