EL CORO DE LA IGLESIA DE SAN MIGUEL DE SEVILLA, OBRA DE BERNARDO SIMÓN DE PINEDA

Abstract

Toe consultation in the Archivo de Protocolos Notariales (Notarial Records Archive) of Seville offered the finding of the documents related to the contract, dated in 1669, of a work by Bernardo Simón de Pineda: the choir-stalls of the old parochial church of San Miguel in Seville. Toe characteristics specified in the contract as well as the historical vicissitudes of the own choir-stalls are the main points in this work.
