Abstract

Nicolás del Campo y la Cuesta, I Marquis of Loreto, had an important artistic collection composed by a lot of silver and gold pieces and, overcoat, pictures. He had even 160 pictures. He could inherit part of these collection of his father, a fl amish retailer called Jacobo van de Velde y Mestere (Diego del Campo y Maestre). Of that art gallery the little news relative to Murrillo’s pictures were had.
