The main masters of the Archbishopric of Seville were in charge of checking the works made in the parish buildings of all the Archidiocese, like the ones in Campillos –in Malaga Bishopric since 1958– at the end of the 18th and the beggining of the 19th centuries. The main masters carvers Francisco de Acosta el Mayor and Francisco de Acosta el Mozo took part in the designs of three new pieces –an organ case, a tenebrarium and a Holy Week monument– and also in the project to repair the main altarpiece.
