This article aims to release new data about the silversmith from Cordoba Martín Sánchez de La Cruz, a prominent silversmith of the seventeenth century. Unpublished biographical references are provided and hitherto unknown religious pieces of work of the artist are also documented. Made in two different stages – 1606-1616 and 1626-1632 – most of them were ordered by the Cathedral Council or several parish churches of Cordoba and its surrounding area.
