Abstract

In the present work unveils the new appeared documents is announced in the Archives of the Cathedral of Seville, located during the investigation that was conducted in parallel with the works of restoration of the gate of Scalas Chapel, during the year 2009. This has served to validate the hypothesis about it on his authorship, so far attributed to Pedro Delgado, and to reveal the participation of the painter Anton Perez in his gold and polychrome. At the same time, complement existing data on its construction process and reconstructed part of the material history of the last ones nearly five hundred years.
