In this article we reconstruct the material history and devocional of the “Nazareno de las Fatigas” which is venerated in the sevillian parish of Santa María Magdalena, since it was carved by the sculptor Gaspar del Águila and polychromed by the painter Antonio de Arfi án in 1587, up to its recent restoration carried out by Francisco Berlanga de Ávila in 2009.
