Abstract

The surname Laffitte is so linked to the ceramic Sevillian industry as those of Mensaque, García Montalbán or Ramos Rejano, in spite of being less popular, probably for the shortage or ambiguity of the come out information. It is frequent to find the name or signature in the documentation preserved on the E. I. A. of Seville or in the own scene of this one; as well as in comments in press dedicated to some another exhibition to which they were presenting pieces. Nevertheless, the specialized publications offer laconic news on his activity. For this, has tried to restore the memory of these manufacturers and the prestige which they enjoyed in those early decades of the 20th century.
