San Andrés’s chapel, belonging to the union of the main master builders of Seville, was presided from 1745 by an altarpiece realized by the assembler José de Guillena, being gilded later by José Moreno. Thanks to the consultation of abundant documentary and graphical material of unpublished character, we could have analyzed it from a structural, stylistic and iconographic point of view, before it was definitively dismantled and destroyed in 1974.
