Study of the wooden friezes dedicated to Hercules in the Castle of Vélez Blanco with new contributions about the prints that served as models for their scenes. Review of the iconography displayed indicating a good understanding for the author of the literary sources of Hercules in the Hispanic tradition. Hypotheses on iconographic changes in engravings and the intervention of Jehan de Liège.
