Abstract

We have analyze the documents in the Archives of Cathedral of Sevilla, looking for the news of the old custodias, or monstrances, this church had. In spite of the cathedral has the best custodia of all of Spain, finised in 1587, this church had two pieces more before this date, one made before 1433, and other builded between 1499 and 1526 or 27. Both of them don’t exist today.
