Abstract

The finding of the articles of apprenticeship of the sculptor Bartolomé García of Santiago with the main sculptor Antonio Cardoso de Quirós in 1699 scorns the theory accepted during a long time that it was placing the artist as disciple of Francisco Antonio Gijón.
