PROPERTIES OF V. T. O. OF THE SEVILLE CONVENT CASA GRANDE DE SAN FRANCISCO IN THE 17TH CENTURY

Abstract

The article deals with the study of several 17th century inventories belonging to the venerable third orden of the convent Casa Grande de San Francisco, in Seville. The documentation reveals interesting data about the sculptural and pictorial images which used to decorate their altars, located in the conventual church, with artist as important as Sebastian de Llanos Valdés, Bernardo Simón de Pineda or José de Arce.
