Study of formal and iconographic origins of Iberian statuary from the sets of Cerrillo Blanco in Porcuna and Osuna. The identification of its models in the friezes and pediments of the archaic period in Athens, Delphi and Olympia, helps to explain the origin and meaning of the compositions. This interpretation of Iberian sculpture locates its origins around 500 BC, after which there was a sequence of reproductions without further Greek input. Can deduce the existence of an important monument in the turdetan area, which was copied to Roman times for local workshops.
