Abstract

The lack of documentation on movable property of San Sebastian’s Hermitage in Seville makes specially valuable an account dated in 1579 and preserved in the Archivo General del Arzobispado. This document details the construction of an altarpiece and a sculpture of Saint Roch, a work made by the sculptor and woodcarver Gaspar del Águila, the painter Vasco Pereira and the gilder Andrés Morín.
