The present article analyzes some aspects of Latin American ceremonial temporality and suggests that the term "ephemeral art", comes from the 60th in the present century is misleading and contradictory, as it diverges its application towards the history of the anti-art of the "French May" problem. This work also postulates that as a creation, Latin American barroque ceremony largely transcends illusory architectural design and scenography to present itself as a "Gesamtkunswerk" or complete work of art, in which all arts and crafts converge.
