Diego de Mendoza was a sculptor, joiner and carpenter who performed his job in Osuna and neighbouring towns in the last quarter of the 16th century and the first quarter of the 17th century. He can be taken as an example of the versatility which characterized this type of craftsmen who satisfied the local artistic demands.
